Villa Doria Pamphili

This park has got to be my favourite in Rome. It's full of beautiful buildings, fountains and ruins, lots of nature and wildlife and even has a cafe for some well needed coffee and cake!

Andy Warhol Exhibition

Last month I visited the Andy Warhol Exhibition in Fondazione Roma Museo on Via Del Corso. It was a great exhibition and I was really surprised by the vast collection of his works, from his famous pop art style of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor, to his earlier works and personal doodles. The ticket included an audio guide which was extremely helpful as I feel like I learned a lot about his work. My favourite part of the exhibition was his Polaroid photographs of different celebrities and public figures and even himself dressed in drag, they were so simple and honest and really captured his fascination with celebrity culture. If you're in Rome, definitely pay a visit, the exhibition runs until 28th September.

Italian Tennis Open

Last week, I went to the Italian Tennis Open. I was hoping to see Andy Murray play but unfortunately he played a few days later! It was a great night and so happy I finally got to see some live Tennis.

Protestant Cemetery

A few weeks back, I visited the Protestant Cemetery in Rome. It is probably most famous for the graves of English poets John Keats and Percy Shelley. It was really beautiful, it felt like such a serene place, not at all how I imagined a cemetery to feel.

Naples part 2

Had such a lovely day in Naples last weekend. The weather was amazing and we spent the day eating amazing pizza, wondering down the streets and seafront and generally just exploring the area.
